The topics of the seminar included discussion of traditional key issues in in situ and ex situ conservation of natural species and introduced plants in Botanical institutions, achievements and challenges in the assessment and use of parameters of genetic diversity of endangered species of natural flora and cultivated populations for their sustainable conservation, restoration of natural habitat and introduction.

At the plenary meeting, on 17 June dealt with the topic "Identifying and creating collection of forms of wood plants that are resistant to climate stress, rare and economically valuable tree species", in which participates the research Department RLSC.
