The profession of a Forester has always enjoyed special respect in the Belarusian society, because the forest is one of the business cards and the pride of our country. The main task facing us today is to preserve and increase the valuable resource.
It is Important to understand that forests are not only our environment, but also our economy, food and energy security. That is why, despite the natural disasters, we are doing everything to increase the forest cover of our country, to increase timber harvesting and production capacity of our enterprises.
Today, the industry employs 36,000 people. These are not only employees of the state forest protection, but also operators of logging machines, shop foremen, engineers, accountants...
there is no doubt that each of you is a professional of your own. And based on your experience, skills and knowledge, we will do everything to ensure that forestry remains one of the most powerful sectors of the economy.
