The uniqueness of the event underlines the fact that RLSC became the first scientific organization of the Ministry of forestry of the Republic of Belarus.

For the period 2013–2017. on the basis of RLSC were 17 projects R & d agenda. The volume of financing research and development works amounted to 30% of the total volume of works (services) performed by physicians RLSC for a specified period.

The Main results of scientific and technical activities in the field of forest selection and seed production, reforestation and afforestation, with the use of modern DNA- and cellular technologies in crop production obtained on the basis of RLST, together with the national Academy of Sciences of Belarus (state scientific institution “forest Institute of the NAS of Belarus”, the SSI “Institute of experimental botany”, SSI “Institute of Bioorganic chemistry of NAS of Belarus”) and universities of Ministry of education of the Republic of Belarus (Belarusian state technological University, Polechu), implemented and put into practice on the basis RLSC, and on the basis of forest nurseries and greenhouses of the Republic of Belarus and on the territory of all forest seed plantations of main forest-forming species of the Ministry of forestry of the Republic of Belarus.

Currently, on the basis of RLSSC research and production departments, work is continuing on the creation of permanent seed base facilities in the Republic of Belarus; on the development of nursery facilities in the Republic of Belarus, including the production of planting material with a closed root system in closed soil; on the development of technological regulations for the production of planting material of valuable forest plant species in industrial volumes, using cellular technologies in vitro.; the Ministry of education of the Republic of Belarus is also assisted in organizing the work of leading Universities as 3.0 Universities.
